Lyman Moore Middle School Students Learn About Local Watersheds

This week, Chris Loew from the District visited Lyman Moore Middle to lead an activity with the 7th grade science classes.

The students used models to demonstrate how watersheds drain water into a lake or river. These activities help students learn about water quality and how they can help solve water quality problems.

Early in May, all of the 7th grade students will be going to the Presumpscot River to release the brook trout they have been raising in the classroom since January.
