Be a Greener Classroom

We offer a variety of stormwater-themed lessons that can be taught inside or outside! Most of the lessons have hands-on activities that get the students moving and exploring their surroundings.

To help connect students to their community, we coordinate with the school and city departments to improve the water quality of nearby streams by growing gardens, improving trails, creating story walks, and raising brook trout.

We partner with a variety of community groups to provide stormwater education and activities for groups of all ages, even adult education.

We provide additional stormwater programing through the Portland Recreation department.
