6th Graders at King Middle School Study Water Pollution

This week, students at King Middle School in Portland learned about the cause and effect of water pollutants in Maine.

Based on their observations, the students were able to determine which of the pollutants has the greatest impact on water quality. These 6th grade science students will now have the challenge of creating solutions to keep these pollutants out of our freshwater ecosystems.
