What Is Healthy Water?

The 6th grade science classes at Lyman Moore Middle School recently learned about watersheds and the characteristics of healthy water. Using models and kits from the Portland Water District, the students saw how humans can affect the quality of our local rivers and streams.

These activities are funded by the Portland Water District WaterWays Education program and led by the Cumberland County Soil & Water Conservation District.
