Water Quality Study with Deering High Students

Students from Deering High put on waders, grabbed their nets, and jumped into Capisic Brook. Teachers Jeff Burnap, Katie Flavin, and Heather Sawyer brought their science classes to the local stream to measure the health of the water with Chris from the District. The students performed chemical tests of the water and searched for macroinvertebrates living on the bottom of the stream. Another great day at Capisic Brook!
